You must be at least 18 years old. Contestants must have a form of I.D. ready at the contest. Registration  and application are FREE (with paid fair admission). Contestants must register the day of the event. 

Where: Jessamine County Fairgrounds, Blue Multi-purpose building 

When: Monday, July 8, 2024 at 7:00 pm 

What: Pizza eating contest where the winner of the contest is whomever finishes their pizza first or eats the most pizza in 5 minutes and follows all rules listed. 

*** Prize: Trophy & Free Pizza for a Year*** 

The Rules 

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Contestants will be limited to the first 19 registered. 
• Contestants must not touch the pizza until the starting signal 
• Contestants will have 5 minutes to eat all the pizza they can handle 
• Contestants may drink water only and may dunk their pizza in water if they wish.
• At the buzzer, contestants have 15 seconds to swallow, then cannot regurgitate or vomit for a full 2 more minutes. 
• The first person to finish his/her pizza or have eaten the most when the 5 minute time limit is up,  and throw their hands in the air to end the contest will be considered the winner.
• If no contestant finishes his/her pizza in the allotted time, the one having eaten the most will be declared the winner. 
• In the case of a tie, one pizza will be reserved and each contestant will be given half of the pizza to see who can eat the most in 1 minute.
• Any announcements or rule changes at the contest take precedence.
• Decisions of officials are final.
