New traffic patterns for Carnival Gate
Because we are now accepting credit cards for admission, there will be two lanes for cars utilizing the Carnival gate. The left lane is for credit card and cash payments. The right lane is cash only. There is also a new pattern for drop-offs and walk-ins that moves them away from vehicle traffic for improved safety. See the map below for details
New Livestock & Motorsports Gate
There is a new entrance from the Eastern Nicholasville Bypass (KY2827) and a new admissions gate by the livestock barns. This gate can be accessed from the new bypass or from Longview Drive. The Livestock & Motorsports Gate is the preferred gate for trucks with trailers, livestock exhibitors and motorsports competitors. In the event that the Livestock & Motorsports Gate isn’t open, you can still use the new bypass to reach the Carnival gate. If you are pulling a trailer, be aware there is a sharp turn at the corner of the fairgrounds by the carnival.

The pulling track and mud pit have moved for the 2025 fair. Watch for signs within the grounds to direct you.
